RollCall2 Attendance App

It turns out one of my most popular apps is an attendance app.
RollCall started as a simple experiment—a way for me to explore Firebase within a Flutter app. Though it was never meant to be a full-fledged product, it gained surprising traction and is still actively used by many people.
So I decided to rebuild it from the ground up.
Introducing RollCall2: a complete rewrite of the original, designed with cross-platform support from the start. This time, I began with the website to ensure it had a solid home and presence across devices.
One of the biggest limitations of the original app was its barebones approach to student management. Attendees were just names—no way to add extra details, group them, or move them across classes.
That’s one of the first things I wanted to fix.
With RollCall2, you can now easily promote an entire group to a new class or cohort. This is especially useful for teachers who want to track students as they move up through grade levels or training stages.

Another big change: I’ve moved away from ads.
In the original version, I found them distracting and not worth the minimal revenue they generated. RollCall2 is now free to use for your first five attendances, after which you can unlock unlimited usage via a subscription. It’s cleaner, simpler, and gives users a better experience from the start.
